As a freshman entering into the world of a college student, you have absolutely no idea what to expect. You have already heard of all the stereotypical college experiences but you feel as if you will not know what it is like until your actually arrive on campus. This can be a very stressful time for some people because this transition is one of the biggest things most people have done in their lives at that point and time. Today I will be sharing many useful tips and tricks to make your transition from highschool into college much easier. First and most important is your class schedule. You want to schedule your classes at a time that you feel you will not ever have to skip class. Skipping class is easy, but in the long run it hurts you much more because of all the missed information. Secondly, begin studying for tests at least a week in advance. This gives you time to make sure that you truly to know all of the material that you will be tested on, ensuring a higher average overall. Also know that attending tutoring sessions while studying for a test might be the last thing you want to do, it is extremely beneficial and will help to build a relationship with your instructor. When choosing a place to eat, know that Stokeley mess hall is nicer than the Presidential Court Cafeteria and has a better menu options when it comes to choosing what to eat. Maintaining a clean living space also helps you to feel more organized and less stressed when not in the best situations. The last tip I have is to try hard in school but also have as much fun as you can before entering into the adult world after the best four years of your life. Link to info on tutoring sessions:
